Regeneration of Glycols from various industrial activities

The experience gained in recovering glycols from abrasive slurries used to cut silicon wafers has enabled Garbo to develop advanced technologies and processes to regenerate other families of glycols from a range of industrial activities.

Garbo regenerates and refines the following glycol-based materials

By purifying these materials, Garbo obtains pure “fractionated products” with specifications suitable for reuse as raw materials.

These products can be used in plastics production (PET), in the chemical industry (for resins), in the ceramics industry (for screen-printing liquids), and in other technical applications.

The added value of regeneration

Through this activity, Garbo “upgrades” glycols, turning waste or off-spec streams into valuable resources. Materials that would otherwise be destined for incineration or confined to low-purity applications are recovered to high quality standards.
